Description
The 1-5/8" Stainless Steel (316/316L) One-Piece Clamp Shaft Collar - Low Profile is designed for secure shaft positioning on standard round shafts, thin-wall tubing, and split hub applications. Precision-machined from 316/316L stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance, smooth bore protection for shaft surfaces, and superior holding power compared to set-screw type collars. Its one-piece clamp design allows easy adjustment while delivering high clamping force and reliable shaft retention. This collar is offered in High Strength, Low Profile, and Heavy Duty styles to accommodate different application requirements. The High Strength style keeps the clamp screw within the outside diameter (OD), the Low Profile style extends the clamp screw beyond the OD, and the Heavy Duty style uses a larger clamp screw and outside diameter for up to twice the holding power. Stocked in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nylon, and Delrin.
Standard Series offers economy-priced versions of low-profile styles (31LXXX and 31SXXX parts).
